Pull back the veil and it was never about democracy. Howe's book Why War? has more to say about the world today than many modern author' works. He documents the control of autocratic and democratic governments by what has come to be known as the Military Indusrtial Complex. Perhaps the vilest, meanest lie is that the U.S. is a democracy.
